Product Update: Closed Beta, Firefox Support, and Team Settings

by on

This week marks the beginning of the MeetSpace closed beta! So, there was a bit less development this week, but we did add Firefox support and a team settings page.

Closed Beta

Closed beta launched on Tuesday, and we’re already getting great feedback from our closed beta users! We got a bunch of bug reports and fixed them, and also a couple of nice feature ideas. My favorite piece of feedback this week was “MeetSpace runs 10° cooler than” on a 10 person call. Nice! Keep the feedback coming!

If you didn’t get into the closed beta but would like to try out MeetSpace, sign up for our mailing list above and you’ll get an invite in our next round.

Firefox Support

We’re happy to say you can now use Firefox during the beta! Firefox is much friendlier on RAM than Chrome, and there were only a couple small differences we had to sort out.

Team Settings Page

As we added more things you could do to your team, it became necessary to add a page just for all team-related actions. On the team settings page you can:

  • Rename the team
  • Remove members
  • Invite new members
  • Revoke pending invitations
  • Delete the team

You can access the team settings page by clicking the gear next to the team name.

Next Steps

We’ve heard you loud and clear, and the next big feature we’re working on is Screensharing. If there’s anything else you’re really itching for, you can email us at
